Nishimura Kyotaro Museum

The Nishimura Kyotaro Museum displays over 300 creations, handwritten manuscripts, and personal items belonging to the renowned Japanese mystery novelist.

The museum, which opened its doors in September 2001, honors the life and works of Kyotaro Nishimura, who authored more than 400 novels.

Through its collection of original manuscripts, photographs, and dioramas, the museum presents the development of Japanese mystery literature in the 20th century.

Located 3 minutes from Shogakko-mae bus stop, the museum operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with admission fees ranging from 100 to 500 yen.

The museum features an extensive collection of dioramas that recreate scenes from Nishimura's novels, allowing visitors to step into his fictional worlds.
