開善寺

Established during the Kamakura period, Kaizenji Temple has maintained its original architectural elements through centuries of careful preservation by local Buddhist monks.

The temple holds monthly meditation sessions and annual ceremonies where participants learn traditional Buddhist chanting and ritual practices from resident monks.

Located 30 minutes from Iida Station by bus, the temple opens daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no entrance fee required for visitors.

The temple houses a collection of ancient scrolls depicting Buddhist teachings, which monks unroll and display during special occasions throughout the year.
