Mabashi Park, Urban park in Kōenji, Japan

Mabashi Park extends across 19,262 square meters of land between JR Asagaya and Koenji Stations, featuring walking paths and open recreational spaces.

The park opened in 1985 on the former grounds of the Japanese army meteorological school after the institute relocated to Tsukuba, Ibaraki.

The park includes designated areas for gateball, a Japanese adaptation of croquet that remains popular among senior citizens in the community.

The facility serves as a disaster prevention center with emergency generators, water storage, and supplies for earthquakes and other critical situations.

A stream flows through the center of the park where visitors can observe koi fish, turtles, and spot-billed ducks in their natural environment.
