Sumpu Castle Park

Sumpu Castle Park sits on expansive grounds featuring original stone walls, reconstructed gates, and traditional gardens around the remains of the fortress. Sections of the moat still hold water, and restored watchtowers stand at key points, helping visitors understand the castle's former layout.

The site began as a fortress in the 1500s and became the residence of a powerful military leader in the 1600s. When the castle fell into disuse, the grounds were transformed into a public park while preserving the original stone structures and water features.
