感応寺

This temple is a Buddhist sanctuary of the Rinzai Zen sect spread across multiple buildings arranged around a central altar. Inside stands a rare statue with multiple faces and a thousand arms, venerated as an embodiment of compassion and protection.

The sanctuary was founded in 1194 and played an important role in the region's religious history. During the political upheavals of the 19th century it was destroyed and later rebuilt to preserve its significance for the community.
