Shōsen-ji

Shōsen-ji is a Buddhist temple in Senju featuring a main hall with intricate wooden carvings. The grounds include a rock garden displaying Buddhist reliefs and a traditional Japanese garden with a carp pond.

The temple was founded in 1260 during the Kamakura period and has served as a center for Buddhist practice through the centuries. This long history shaped both the buildings and its collections.
