Kujūkuri Prefectural Natural Park

Kujūkuri Prefectural Natural Park stretches along the Pacific coast and features extensive sandy beaches, sand dunes, and protected natural environments across its length. The park encompasses portions of twelve municipalities and offers multiple entry points with visitor facilities throughout.

The area received official protection status in 1935, establishing itself as a key conservation site in the Chiba region early on. This early recognition helped safeguard the coastal ecosystems and communities from major alterations over time.
