Nara Centennial Hall

The modernist structure contains a main auditorium seating 1476 people, a medium hall for 434 attendees, and a multipurpose meeting room for 100 visitors.

The building marked the hundredth anniversary of Nara city's municipal organization when it opened on February 1, 1999, designed by architect Arata Isozaki.

The facility presents classical music concerts, Noh theater performances, Rakugo storytelling events, and numerous community gatherings throughout the year.

The venue features interpretation booths supporting four languages, movable seating arrangements, and a spacious entrance hall with a cafeteria and ticket counter.

The main hall incorporates an adaptable stage system that transforms into eight different configurations, complemented by a glass-walled medium hall for superior acoustics.
