Serada Tōshō-gū, Shinto shrine and Important Cultural Property in Ota, Japan
The main shrine building features a copper-roofed Nagare-zukuri architectural style, accompanied by a worship hall and Karamon gate from Nikko Toshogu.
The shrine, established in 1644 by Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu, stands adjacent to Choraku-ji temple and contains structures relocated from the Nikko Toshogu complex.
The shrine buildings preserve traditional Japanese religious architecture, with three main structures receiving National Important Cultural Property designation in 1956.
Visitors can examine the detailed craftsmanship of the buildings, including the three-bay Irimoya-zukuri style structure and ornate metal decorations.
The shrine houses a Kamakura-period tachi sword, donated by Emperor Go-Mizunoo, featuring silver-polished fittings and gold lacquer chrysanthemum decorations.
