Nerima Art Museum

The Nerima Art Museum is an art museum in Nukui housed in a modern building within the Bijutsu-no-Mori Green Zone. Multiple gallery spaces display contemporary and modern artworks across various exhibition areas.

The museum was established in 1985 and has expanded its collection to over 6700 works. This holdings document major Japanese artistic movements from the 20th century.

The museum presents regular exhibitions of Japanese and international artists, fostering dialogue between Eastern and Western artistic perspectives. Visitors can encounter diverse creative approaches in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 and provides wheelchair accessibility throughout all areas. Visitor facilities make it easy to navigate all gallery spaces.

An adjacent sculpture park features 32 artistic animal interpretations as an outdoor gallery. Visitors can directly interact with these outdoor installations.
