IJssportcentrum Eindhoven, Indoor ice sports stadium in Genneper Parken, Netherlands.
The IJssportcentrum Eindhoven is a sports facility in Genneper Parken with multiple ice surfaces for different disciplines. A 400-meter skating track, an ice hockey arena with around 1700 seats, and a separate training rink for youth competitions make up the core of this complex.
The facility opened in 1970 with a partly covered track and received a new main building in 1981. This expansion allowed the center to host more sports and larger events.
The center hosts the Eindhoven Kemphanen ice hockey club and brings players and spectators from across the region together. The indoor rink and ice arena are places where local skaters train and regularly compete in tournaments.
Skating sessions typically run from October through March with hours that adjust seasonally. Equipment rental is available on site, so visitors can either bring their own skates or rent them locally.
Outside the skating season, the grounds transform into a versatile event venue hosting flea markets and music festivals. The facility also features a children's escape room, which offers unexpected entertainment alongside its sports activities.
