Kalinowszczyzna

Kalinowszczyzna is an administrative district in northeastern Lublin with four residential neighborhoods of varying character. The area features mixed residential development ranging from newer apartment complexes to older residential blocks.

The area developed originally as a suburb along a major route and took its name from a noble family in the early 18th century. This name has remained associated with the district since then.

The district contains four residential estates with varying building styles, from modern apartment blocks to traditional stone houses in the southern area. This architectural mix shapes how the neighborhood looks and reflects how it has grown over time.

The district is easily walkable and has good connections to neighboring areas. The relatively flat terrain makes getting around on foot convenient for visitors.

A former burial ground in this area dates back to the 16th century and served as a cemetery for the local community for several centuries. Few traces of this historical site remain visible today.
