The construction of this religious edifice began in 1756 under architect Efraim Szreger, following years of religious tensions in Toruń.
The church serves as an academic center for the Jesuit community, hosting religious services and educational programs throughout the year.
Visitors can attend daily masses at 8:00, 9:00, 15:30, and 19:00, with additional services on Sundays at 10:00, 12:00, and 20:30.
The building underwent a significant transformation in the late 19th century with the addition of a tower designed by Hugo Hartung and Carl Schäfer.
