Wieża widokowa na Czarnej Górze, Observation tower in Masyw Śnieżnika, Poland.
Wieża widokowa na Czarnej Górze is an observation tower that stood on the slope of Masyw Śnieżnika at roughly 1200 meters elevation. It provided views across the Kłodzko Valley and the surrounding mountain ranges of the region.
This tower was built in 2000 as part of a ski resort development and remained in use until 2019 when safety concerns prompted its closure. Demolition occurred in 2021.
The tower served as a significant destination for mountain tourism in Lower Silesia, attracting visitors seeking panoramic views of the Polish-Czech borderlands.
Visitors could reach the summit using a chairlift from Sienna or by following marked hiking trails through the Sudetes. Walking the trails is a popular way to experience the landscape during the ascent.
On clear days, observers could spot the lights of Wrocław and Prague despite their distance, as well as the peaks of the Karkonosze Mountains. This long-distance visibility made the location special among regional observation points.
