Jaskinia Krowia, Limestone cave in Ojcowski National Park, Poland.
The entrance to Jaskinia Krowia opens into a bright and dry natural shelter formed within hard limestone rocks along the Prądnik Valley road.
During the 19th century, local farmers used this natural cavity as a shelter for their cows and sheep while the animals grazed on nearby pastures.
The cave gained media attention when it served as a filming location for the movie 'Ogniem i mieczem', featuring a scene with artificial water cascading effects.
Located less than 100 meters from the Kraków Gate, the cave remains accessible to visitors through marked trails within Ojcowski National Park.
The interior space of this State Treasury-owned cave previously functioned as a cold storage facility, which altered its original sedimentary deposits.
