Former Dacia Insurance Building

The former Dacia Insurance Building is located in central Bucharest's Old Town area and displays early 20th-century architectural features with multiple European influences. The structure was built between 1882 and 1889 for the Dacia-Romania Insurance Company and later served as headquarters for the Romanian General Bank until 1931. It was reconstructed following the severe 1977 earthquake, showing a long history of commercial activity in the city.
