Stjenik Monestery

Stjenik Monastery is an Orthodox monastery near Čačak in Serbia, situated on a mountainside with several connected buildings. The complex contains residential cells for nuns, a small church with an iconostasis, and a workshop where icon painting takes place.

The monastery was established in 2003 after tensions with the Serbian Orthodox Church, when the nuns relocated to Mikul mountain. This move marks the beginning of the current community's history at its present location.

The monastery is home to nuns who maintain daily prayer practices and regularly host local visitors for communal meals. These customs shape how Orthodox traditions remain active in the daily life of the community.
