Dundjerski Castle in Kulpin, Neoclassical mansion in Kulpin, Serbia.
Dundjerski Castle is a neoclassical mansion in Kulpin, a village in the South Bačka District of Serbia. It has a symmetrical facade with a central portico supported by Doric columns and is classified as a Monument of Culture of Great Importance.
The mansion was built in the 1830s by Nikola Bezeredj after his marriage, reflecting the wealth of Vojvodina landowners at that time. It later became the seat of the Dundjerski family, one of the most influential families in the region.
The castle served as a residence for the Dundjerski family, whose collections and artworks remain displayed throughout the rooms today. Visitors can explore exhibitions that tell the story of this influential family from the region.
The castle stands on Liberation Square in the center of Kulpin and is easy to reach on foot. Inside, there are exhibitions to visit, and the surrounding park is open for walking.
The park surrounding the castle was laid out in two different garden styles, English and French, within the same grounds. It also contains historic plots where crops such as wheat and hops were once grown, linking the estate directly to the farming past of Vojvodina.
