Էստակադային կամուրջ, High-traffic bridge in Kaliningrad, Russia
Estakadny Bridge is an elevated concrete structure spanning 546 meters across the Pregolya River, with a 27-meter-wide roadway designed to handle multiple lanes of traffic. The bridge connects the northern and southern sections of the city and carries heavy daily vehicle volume.
The bridge was constructed in 1972 as a response to growing traffic demands in Kaliningrad during the Soviet era. It represents one of the major infrastructure projects undertaken in the city during the postwar decades.
The bridge stands as a connection point between different districts of Kaliningrad, facilitating movement between residential areas and the city center.
The bridge is easily accessible for both pedestrians and vehicles, with well-marked lanes on both sides. Crossing during off-peak hours is advisable, as traffic can be heavy during rush periods.
The structure represents one of the newer bridges in Kaliningrad, contrasting with the historical bridges featured in Euler's mathematical problem.
