Kaliningrad Viewing Tower Lighthouse

The Kaliningrad Viewing Tower Lighthouse is a 33-meter tall tower in the center of Fish Village, offering views over the city and Kant Island from its observation deck. The structure houses multiple floors with exhibit spaces, a cafe, and a souvenir shop.

The tower was built following discoveries made during Fish Village's construction in 2006 and displays artifacts from the archaeological excavation. It holds weapons from the 19th and 20th centuries that reflect layers of the city's past.

The tower displays Chinese and Korean swords, fencing rapiers, tridents, and everyday objects from 16th century Königsberg residents. These items tell the story of the city's past connections and busy trade life.

The climb involves 133 steps to reach the observation platform, with intermediate floors offering a cafe and souvenir shop for a break. Plan enough time to explore both stops and enjoy the views at the top.

A seagull statue with an egg decorates the observation platform, and local tradition holds that touching the egg grants wishes. This small sculpture has become a favorite ritual among visitors.
