Molodi Estate, Federal cultural heritage estate in Molodi, Russia.
Molodi Estate is a manor house with multiple attached wings located in a village near Moscow. Alongside the main building stand stables, orangeries, and residential buildings for household staff that formed a complete working estate.
The estate retained its original pre-revolutionary architecture while many other manor houses across the Soviet Union underwent major rebuilding. This preservation makes it a rare example of how such properties were designed during that era.
The manor displays Russian building traditions through its symmetrical layout and carefully detailed facades that reflect how people organized their daily lives. The separation between family quarters and staff areas shows the social structure that existed during its active years.
The estate is most easily reached by regional train from Moscow, which goes directly to the village station. A short walk through the village from there leads to the manor house.
Right near the estate, the 1572 Battle of Molodi took place, where Russian forces stopped an invasion by the Crimean Khanate. This historical battlefield lies practically on the doorstep of the manor.
