Demidov Manor, Peterhof Road

Demidov Manor is a classicist building from the 1700s in Krasnoselsky with symmetrical facades and ornate architectural details facing different directions. Stone lions guard the front stairs and Gothic gates frame the entrances to the property.

Construction of the building began around 1760 under architect I.E. Starov for the wealthy Demidov family. The family made its fortune through mining and heavy industry, becoming influential figures in Russian economic development.
