Laholm Bay Beach

The beach extends along the Kattegat coast with a continuous stretch of golden sand and natural dunes spanning 12 kilometers from Stensån to Halmstad.

During the 1930s, the firm sand of the beach served as a transportation route, accommodating regular bus services connecting coastal settlements to Båstad.

The beach holds traditional summer celebrations where locals gather for midsummer festivities, featuring Swedish folk dances and communal meals near the water.

The beach maintains designated swimming areas with lifeguard stations from June through August, offering facilities such as changing rooms and accessible walkways.

The shallow waters maintain a constant depth of 20 meters across the bay, creating specific conditions for marine life and water temperature patterns.
