Louis de Geer konsert & kongress

Louis de Geer Concert and Congress is a venue with multiple performance spaces designed for concerts, theatrical productions, and corporate events. The halls are configured to accommodate different audience sizes and event types.

The site began as a paper mill in 1954 and was transformed into a concert hall in 1994. The renovation preserved industrial elements while adapting the space for modern performances.

The local symphony orchestra performs regular concerts here, while dance productions and theatrical shows fill the calendar throughout the year. Visitors can experience different forms of artistic expression in one building, from classical music to contemporary theatre.

The venue operates on a cash-free system, so bring a card for all purchases. Food and beverages are available during intermissions, with special menus offered for attendees.

The design by Lund & Valentin deliberately keeps industrial traces from the old paper mill visible throughout the building while integrating modern acoustic technology. This blend of raw industrial character with contemporary comfort creates an distinctive atmosphere.
