The area transformed from an industrial estate established in the 1890s with Atlas Copco factories into a retail park after rezoning in 1994.

The location includes 2,600 parking spaces, a health center, shopping facilities, and connects directly to Stockholm's public transportation network.

Stockholm Wood City project in Sickla will become the largest urban wooden construction development, covering 250,000 square meters with 7,000 office spaces.
