Nacka Municipality

Nacka is a municipality located east of Stockholm on the Baltic Sea coast. The area contains several urban neighborhoods and residential zones interspersed with forests, lakes, and waterfront inlets typical of the Swedish archipelago landscape.

Nacka developed in the 20th century as a residential area for workers in the Stockholm region. Its growth was closely tied to Stockholm's expansion and the industrial development of the area.

The municipality sits about 10 miles (15 km) east of central Stockholm and is easily reached by public transit. Visitors should expect travel time between scattered neighborhoods since the area is spread out across forests and waterfront zones.
