Villa Ekudden, Djurgården

Villa Ekudden features three distinct buildings on a 12,000 square meter property, with the main structure containing 13 rooms and a kitchen.

Industrialist Jean Bolinder commissioned Villa Ekudden in 1874 as a summer residence, followed by ownership transfers to singer Isidor Dannström and businessman Oscar Lamm.

The villa underwent substantial renovations in the 1890s under baker August Reinhold, who hired architect Gustaf Wickman to create its current architectural design.

Located near Thielska Galleriet on Blockhusudden, the main building spans approximately 1,000 square meters and includes staff quarters with a garage.

Following a fire in 1942, architect Ivar Tengbom led the reconstruction of Villa Ekudden, maintaining its position as a notable residential landmark.
