Wanås Castle Sculpture Park

The sculpture park spreads across the castle grounds, featuring 80 permanent outdoor installations created by artists from different countries and cultures.

The estate traces its origins to the 16th century, transforming from a medieval stronghold into a contemporary art venue while maintaining its original architecture.

Artists create site-specific works that respond to the natural environment, establishing connections between art, nature, and the local landscape.

The park welcomes visitors from April through early November, offering guided tours and educational programs for schools and groups throughout the season.

Each artwork in the collection stands in its exact intended location, forming a permanent dialogue between the sculptures and their surrounding environment.
