Minčol, Mountain summit in Kyjov, Slovakia.
The Minčol peak stands at 1157.2 meters above sea level as the highest point of the Čergov mountain range in northeastern Slovakia.
The mountain territory contains remnants of the medieval Kamenický Castle, which served as a defensive fortress along important trade routes through the region.
The summit serves as a meeting point for the annual gathering called Meeting of Four Districts, bringing together residents from Stará Ľubovňa, Bardejov, Sabinov, and Prešov.
Hikers can access the summit through a nine-kilometer trail that takes three hours to complete, with convenient rest stops at Kamenica Farm and a mountain shelter.
The mountain features the distinctive Sokolia rock formation, also known as Eagle's Rock, which provides views across multiple surrounding valleys and neighboring mountain ranges.
