National Taiwan University Gymnasium

The National Taiwan University Gymnasium is a sports facility in Taipei with multiple indoor courts and activity areas housed under one complex. It provides access to swimming, squash, badminton, and weight training spaces for university members and the public.

Construction began in 1995 and the facility opened in 2001 as part of the university's campus development. Since then it has hosted major sporting events and competitions on a regular basis.

The gymnasium functions as a central gathering point for students and local residents, hosting numerous sporting competitions, academic events, and community activities throughout the year.

The facility opens early in the morning and closes in the evening on most days, welcoming both university members and visitors. It helps to check ahead if you want to use specific areas during your visit.

In 2014, the gymnasium expanded beyond traditional sports by serving as a venue for the League of Legends World Championship, establishing its presence in electronic sports competitions.
