NTU Agricultural Exhibition Hall

The NTU Agricultural Exhibition Hall is a three-story museum in Xuefu Village with green and yellow tiles on its exterior walls representing leaves and rice plants, while white walls symbolize paddy fields. Inside, it houses exhibitions about farming techniques, food technology, and agricultural research.

The museum was designed in the 1960s by architect Zhang Zhao-kang to showcase Taiwan's agricultural progress during that era. The hall became a venue for diplomatic visits from other countries.

The building blends Chinese architectural elements with modern materials and functions as an educational space where visitors can learn about agricultural innovation and sustainable farming methods.

The building contains several exhibition areas that visitors can explore at their own pace, but wheelchair access is limited throughout the facility. It helps to check in advance which areas might suit your accessibility needs.

The museum houses over one hundred plant specimens from Taiwan's agricultural heritage, including field crops, garden varieties, and medicinal herbs. This collection showcases the crop diversity that has been grown in the region for generations.
