Monument to Aleksandr Pushkin in Mykolaiv

The Monument to Aleksandr Pushkin in Mykolaiv is a bronze statue located at the intersection of Naberezhna Street and Pushkinska Street. The life-sized representation of the Russian poet once served as a recognizable landmark in this central area of the city.

The monument was created in 1988 by sculptor Yuriy Makushin and architect O.P. Popova to honor the Russian poet. The statue represented a significant example of Soviet-era commemorative art in the city.

The monument was formerly located at a central point in the city and was easily accessible on foot. Visitors should note that the statue is no longer present at its original location.
