Chelmsford Forum

Chelmsford Forum is a multi-purpose sports building with an ice rink that holds around 3,500 spectators. The facility hosts ice hockey games, public skating sessions, and various events throughout the year.

The building opened in 1964 as Tully Forum and was home to the UMass Lowell hockey team for many years. The River Hawks won NCAA Division II championships at the facility during the 1980s.

The venue serves as a gathering place for local ice hockey teams and school programs that train and compete here regularly. Spectators come to watch student athletes and community teams perform throughout the season.

The ice rink operates year-round for ice hockey and public skating with regular schedules for different activities. Parking is available for visitors coming to watch or participate.

Despite carrying the Chelmsford name and being owned by that town, the building actually sits in the neighboring community of North Billerica. This location mix-up often surprises visitors looking for the facility.
