Giovanni's Room Bookstore, LGBTQ bookstore in Center City, Philadelphia, United States.

The bright corner store at 12th and Pine Streets features shelves filled with over 15,000 books covering LGBTQ literature and feminist works.

The store opened in 1973 as the second LGBTQ bookstore in the United States, following New York's Oscar Wilde Memorial Bookshop.

The establishment organizes regular author talks, literary discussions, and community gatherings that support Philadelphia's LGBTQ population through literature and education.

Customers can browse both new and secondhand books from Monday through Saturday between 11 AM and 8 PM, and Sundays from 11 AM to 7 PM.

The store operates under Philly AIDS Thrift management, directing proceeds from book sales to support local organizations fighting HIV and AIDS.
