HERE Arts Center, Performance venue in Manhattan, US
HERE Arts Center contains two performance stages and an exhibition space located at 145 Avenue of the Americas between Spring Street and Broome Street.
Founded in 1993, the center underwent a complete renovation in 2008 through a five million dollar campaign after purchasing its building in 2005.
The venue supports experimental theater productions, dance performances, multimedia shows, and puppetry, marking its position in the Off-Off-Broadway movement.
The facility maintains multiple performance spaces with adaptable seating arrangements to accommodate different types of productions throughout the year.
Productions at HERE Arts Center have received sixteen OBIE awards, seven TONY nominations, and six Drama Desk nominations since its establishment.
