10 Sullivan, Modern residential building in SoHo, Manhattan, US
10 Sullivan is a modern 16-story residential building situated on a wedge-shaped site at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Sullivan Street. The brick facade features oversized windows that respond to the unique corner position and flood the interior with natural light.
The building was developed between 2014 and 2016 by Property Market Group and Madison Equities with architectural design by Tamarkin Co. It emerged during a pivotal period when SoHo shifted toward contemporary residential construction.
The building embodies SoHo's transformation from an industrial zone into a contemporary residential neighborhood where art galleries and design studios shape daily life. Residents live surrounded by this creative environment that continues to define the area.
The building houses 20 residential units and provides residents with a fitness center, storage spaces, and private elevators. A full-time concierge service is available to handle daily needs and queries.
The building occupies a narrow wedge-shaped lot squeezed between two streets and positioned directly adjacent to the Holland Tunnel entrance. This unusual location required architects to create a design that works within tight constraints.
