Promised Land State Park, State park in Pike County, United States.
Promised Land State Park spans 3,000 acres on the Pocono Plateau at 1,800 feet elevation, bordered by 12,464 acres of Delaware State Forest.
The Pennsylvania Commonwealth acquired this land in 1902, establishing it as the fourth state park in 1905 following extensive timber harvesting operations.
The Masker Museum presents exhibits about the Civilian Conservation Corps workers who constructed the park facilities during the Great Depression period.
Visitors can access four campgrounds, rustic cabins, two lakes for fishing and boating, plus numerous hiking trails throughout the forested grounds.
The Bear Wallow Cabins and Whittaker Lodge, constructed in the 1930s, received recognition on the National Register of Historic Places.
