The tower is accessible from McKinley Avenue on the University Green with parking available nearby. Visitors can enter during regular hours and enjoy the carillon performances throughout the day.
Inside the tower, a narrow staircase leads to a control room where musicians perform the carillon bells using a keyboard system. This hands-on method means each performance is a direct expression of a musician's skill.
