Cleveland Mall, Urban park in downtown Cleveland, United States.
Cleveland Mall extends between East 9th and West 3rd Streets, featuring walkways, open plazas, and green spaces across 26 acres. The site connects major civic buildings including Public Auditorium, the Global Center for Health Innovation, and the underground Huntington Convention Center.
This urban park emerged from the 1903 Group Plan created by Daniel Burnham, John Carrère, and Arnold Brunner. The project became a turning point in American urban planning and established a major public green space for the city.
The Fountain of Eternal Life, a 1964 sculpture by Marshall Fredericks, dominates Memorial Plaza and reflects the importance of public art in the city. Visitors encounter this bronze centerpiece as they move through the open spaces, making it a focal point of daily pedestrian life.
This park is easy to navigate on foot, with clear pathways connecting the different sections throughout the site. Visitors can access the grounds freely and find plenty of space to walk or rest.
The park is organized into three distinct sections arranged in a T-shape: Veterans' Memorial Plaza, the central section, and Strawbridge Plaza. This unusual layout creates different zones and experiences within the larger complex.
