Rockywold-Deephaven Camps

Rockywold-Deephaven Camps is a summer camp complex on two peninsulas of Squam Lake with over 60 wooden cottages spread across 391 acres of land. Lodging ranges from private cabins to shared rooms in main buildings, and two dining halls serve communal meals throughout the season.

The camps originated from two separate facilities founded in 1897 and 1901 that joined their operations in 1918. This merger created the unified complex that stands today and earned recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The camps draw families who return year after year to reconnect and spend time together by the water. Visitors participate in boating, tennis, and shared meals that form the rhythm of the summer community.

The grounds spread across two peninsulas with various pathways and trails to explore throughout the area. The best time to visit is during summer months when all activities and facilities are fully operational and accessible.
