Built in 1913 after financial delays, this church replaced an 1881 wooden structure that was moved into the city in 1898.
The parish introduced Spanish language services to support the increasing Hispanic population of Madison during demographic changes.
Located at 502 Nebraska Street, the church maintains a seating capacity of 700 people for regular religious services.
Architect Jacob M. Nachtigall incorporated both Neoclassical and Romanesque Revival elements in the design of this National Register listed building.
