Roy Wilkins Southern Queens Park is a 54-acre urban space in St. Albans that brings together sports and recreation facilities for residents. The grounds contain an Olympic-size swimming pool, various sports fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and three cricket pitches.
The site was formerly a naval hospital before transforming into a public park in 1977. It was named after civil rights leader Roy Wilkins in 1982.
