The courthouse maintains Madison's position as a center of legal proceedings, processing over 26,000 cases annually through its municipal court system.
The building incorporates interpretation services and disability accommodations, ensuring all residents can access legal services and participate in judicial proceedings.
As the first green building constructed by Dane County, the courthouse implemented a complete paperless system across all divisions by 2016.
