The 475-foot-tall Murano features 43 floors of blue glass and concrete architecture, making it the nineteenth tallest building in Philadelphia.
The building stands on the former site of the Erlanger Theater, which operated from 1927 to 1978 before becoming a parking lot.
Located in Logan Square, Murano represents Philadelphia's transformation from industrial spaces to modern residential developments in the early 21st century.
The skyscraper contains 302 condominiums ranging from 750 to 2,600 square feet, each designed with loft-style layouts and private balconies.
Solomon Cordwell Buenz architects incorporated concrete bands across the glass facade to connect the building visually with surrounding structures.
