The Neff Round Barn spans 88 feet in diameter and reaches 56 feet in height, featuring a conical roof covered with tin and cedar shingles.
Built in 1910 by Calvin R. Neff and Aaron Thomas, this agricultural structure became the first round barn constructed in Centre County, Pennsylvania.
The barn represents early 20th-century agricultural innovation, with its circular design influenced by Midwestern farming practices observed during train travels.
Four large doors on the north side provide access to the mow floor, while the interior layout includes grain bins and a central silo for efficient feed distribution.
The structure contains two distinct levels with a limestone foundation and white pine construction, encompassing 6,000 square feet of functional space.
