Pennsylvania Military Museum

The Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg contains military equipment, uniforms, and weapons spanning multiple service branches and historical periods. The grounds feature both indoor galleries and outdoor displays where visitors can walk among tanks, artillery pieces, and naval guns.

The museum opened in 1968 to preserve the legacy of Pennsylvania soldiers who served across generations. Its collections span from the Revolutionary War era through contemporary military operations.

The museum maintains the 28th Division Shrine and numerous memorials dedicated to military units, recognizing their service and contributions.

The grounds are spacious, allowing visitors to move comfortably between indoor and outdoor sections at their own pace. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to walk through the outdoor displays.

Cannons from the USS Pennsylvania battleship, which saw action during World War II, are preserved here as part of the collection. The grounds also feature a monument dedicated to the 28th Infantry Division's fallen from modern conflicts.
