Tribune East Tower

Tribune East Tower is a supertall skyscraper in downtown Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, located adjacent to the historic Tribune Tower. The building rises approximately 1,442 feet and includes residential apartments, a hotel, and parking facilities arranged across 113 floors.

The project received approval in 2020 and occupies a site next to Tribune Tower, the former Chicago Tribune headquarters that became a city landmark in 1989. This location connects the new development to the newspaper's influential role in shaping the city's past.

The development includes affordable housing units within its 439 rental apartments, reflecting modern urban planning priorities in central Chicago.

The location is accessible by public transit and situated within walking distance of other downtown attractions and landmarks. The surrounding area offers easy navigation with multiple pedestrian pathways through Chicago's central business district.
