River East Center

River East Center is a residential skyscraper in Streeterville with 58 floors and approximately 620 condominium units overlooking Lake Michigan. The building features a modern glass exterior and contains a multiplex cinema with numerous screens in its lower section.

The structure was completed in 2001 and followed original design plans that included roof spires to add height. The final construction omitted these additional features and was built in its current form.

The building reflects Chicago's role as a center for tall building design and residential development along the waterfront. Its glass exterior and lakeside location represent how the city continues to develop modern living spaces with water views.
