Coast at Lakeshore East

Coast at Lakeshore East is a residential skyscraper with 51 floors located at 345 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago, featuring metal and glass construction. The building houses apartments and retail space within a single integrated structure.

Construction of this residential tower began in 2011 and finished in 2013 as the eighth building in the Lakeshore East development project. The project marked an important step in reshaping the downtown waterfront area.

The tower demonstrates contemporary residential design with hundreds of apartments situated alongside shops in the city center. The building shapes daily life for the many people living and working within it.

The building is accessible from the street and serves residents with elevator service throughout all floors and dedicated parking facilities. Visitors should know that this is a residential building, so access is limited to public areas only.

The building was the first completely smoke-free residential structure in the entire Lakeshore East development area. This policy set a new standard for residential wellness in the neighborhood.
