Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field

Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field is a baseball stadium on the College of the Holy Cross campus with seating for about 3000 spectators. The playing field extends about 332 feet down the left line and about 385 feet to center field.

The site was originally established in 1905 as an athletic field for the College of the Holy Cross. The current name sponsorship came in the early 2000s when major renovations modernized the facility.

The field serves as a regular home for college baseball teams and a local futures league that play before crowds here. Games draw fans who follow collegiate and amateur baseball in the region.

The field is located on campus and is easily reached when visiting the college grounds. The stadium offers good lighting for evening games and adequate space for spectators.

A baseball legend played an exhibition game here in 1939 against Holy Cross and created a moment that remains unforgettable in local sports history. This early game is still remembered by many who visit.
